THE SPECIAL CUVÉES
The must of Villemont
The continual search for quality brought us to create 4 special cuvées, which are aged in oak barrels in order to offer more complex wines in relation with the local soils.

WHITE WINES •
CUVEE
AGATE - This cuvée is issued from a
Chenin grape, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. To the eyes,
the wine presents a nice gold yellow robe; the taste is rich with
aromas of hazelnut and almond. The honey flavor appears later in
order to round and soften an aromatic range among the most elegant.
A great class Chenin, very elegant and well structured improves
with age.
Savour with hot oysters, cooked crayfish and foie gras.
Consume between 3 and 12 years.
CUVEE EMERAUDE - This
cuvee is issued from a Chardonnay grape, it is aged in French oak
barrels for 12 months. To the eyes, this wine presents a nice brilliant
robe with intense green reflections; the taste is elegant, racy
and generous with inimitable aromas of dried fruits, vanilla and
roasted coffee.
A great class Chardonnay, there is fullness and fineness in this
cuvée.
Savour with scallops,
mussels, cooked fish and lobster with American sauce.
Consume between 3 and 7 years.

RED WINES
•
CUVEE GRENAT - This cuvée
is issued from a Gamay grape, it is aged in French oak barrels for
10 months. It is a wine with a red cherry robe, light amber color,
its flavor is well balanced with a good lasting taste; and it develops
aromas of red stewed fruits (redcurrant, raspberry, cherry) with
spicy and woody nuances. A nice Gamay with fine tanins, discover
it without hesitation.
Savour with lamb, wild
fowl game, duck and goose.
Consume between 3 and 8 years.
CUVEE AMETHYSTE - This
cuvée comes from a blend Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, it
is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months. This wine appears as
an intense purple red robe, the taste is structured with silky and
velvety tanins completed with roasting, chocolate or black fruit
aromas. A great cuvée that is very subtle for its fleshy
structure and its bewitching after taste.
Savour with red meats, big game and cheese.
Consume between 3 and 8 years.
