The vines of the Haut Poitou have been planted in this region since the gallo-romaine age. The vineyard of the Domaine de Villemont is composed of 18 hectares and has been in the Family Bourdier for many decades. It is situated in Seuilly in the commune of Mirebeau, a few kilometres away from the Futuroscope between Poitiers/Angers.
